This web site is just the random babblings of a PhD student needing some place to clear out her brain. Along with my natural interest in the environment, as an ecology student, I also follow politics very closely, and usually have a fairly informed viewpoint if rarely a mainstream one.

Another feature that will be grown on this web site is a place to host some of my thousands of pictures. Many of them 35 mm film shots that I need to scan in (yes I’m THAT old) as well as nifty digital photos. I don’t really know what I’m doing but with a digital at least I feel like I can experiment without going broke. Of course, I rarely do that in any kind of ordered learning process. I have some nice nature shots and a few good celebrity photos as well.

I’m also a sci fi fantasy connoisseur. For about half a century now I’ve been trying to write a vampire book based on science. Hopefully, I won’t strangle the romance out of it! But here is where I’m going to try to get organize and occassionally float a passage or two for comment and discussion.
