I’ve been very distressed by the last few episodes. Especially with the behavior of Sookie Stackhouse. The writers need to seriously rethink how they are writing her or maybe they need a constant writer for her lines who can say, “She wouldn’t do that, she would do this”. Not only is it totally inconsistent (she doesn’t want Bill to have to take care of her but won’t let Sam walk off five feet when she could step outside the door to the party and yell for help) but I’m sick of her being a terrible representation of the female half of the human race. In fact, every single female with the exception of Gran on this show has been a roaring bitch IMHO and it’s offensive.
23 Nov 08 You’ll Be the Death of me (Season Finale)
Sookie finds a link to the string of killings in Bon Temps - and ends up in the murderer’s crosshairs. Tara decides to make the most of her second chance with Maryann; Jason finds a new calling after anti-vampire zealot Orry visits him in jail; Bill tempts fate during his latest attempt to save Sookie; Sam is perturbed by an encounter with an old acquaintance; Lafayette finds himself in the wrong place at the right time.

oh please. Alan has screwed this show left and right with his ‘creative touches’. He had the show wrapped up and handed to him with in a bow when Harris wrote the books. there was absolutely nothing wrong with them. but oh no, Sookie just has to have a BFF so it’s make Tara bigger (and a totally inconsistent character). Let’s make Jason a total freak. Plus we just have to sex the show way the heck up cause no one is going to watch a show on HBO that doesn’t have bare asses humping right up on the screen.
Please can I have a time machine and go back to when the first book was written. I’ll snatch up the movie/tv rights and do the show right.
